Provide wedding party and family members an invitation or schedule for where and when they are expected for photos, both before and immediately following the ceremony.
Most brides run late - when planning hair and make-up appointments, add at least 30 minutes to the preparations.
Have bridal shoes, both wedding bands and special momentos available for your photographer to take detail shots.
When exchanging rings during the ceremony, try and position your hands so your guests and photographer can see the moment.
Make sure the florist delivers the bouquets and boutonnieres to the location you plan to take photographs before the ceremony.
Consider your photographer’s suggestions for timing: The more time you have for photos, the more relaxed everyone will be in the pictures.
Look through magazines for photo ideas. The pictures you choose will help both of you interact more naturally during the photo session and help your photographer fulfill your wedding day dreams.
